According to his birth certificate, Master Lecturer Siraphope Trakultim, Esq., B.A., was born under the name Master Thanit Trakultim (Thai: เด็กชาย ธนิต ตระกูลทิม, นามแรกเกิด). He acquired Thai nationality by birth and was born during the reign of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great (Rama IX of the Chakri Dynasty).
According to a memorial publication prepared for a Royal Cremation Ceremony, Siraphope's paternal grandfather was a close friend of the eldest brother of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother of Thailand. Through their professional and personal association, they were connected with efforts that contributed to the development of modern medicine in the Kingdom of Thailand.
According to historical records, including the documented history of Fort Suranari Hospital, Siraphope's maternal great-great-grandfather was among the respected figures associated with a traditional medical team that successfully developed a remedy against cholera. Their work helped protect the people of Nakhon Ratchasima from a devastating epidemic and preserved countless lives during that period.
According to family historical archives, Siraphope descends from a family line of royal court retainers and noble ancestry. Across generations, the family has maintained many of the traditions, customs, values, and social etiquette associated with Thailand's old-established families, regardless of changing times or economic circumstances.
Based on chronological order, Siraphope belongs to the fourth generation of his family ancestry.
Matthew 7:1–5 has influenced Siraphope to strive to live as a humble Christian—avoiding pride, refraining from thinking he is better than others, and choosing not to judge or condemn other people. Although he is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, his future wife does not necessarily have to be a Latter-day Saint.
However, in recent years, the number of straight Thai men—especially heterosexual men in Bangkok—who choose to remain single and never marry has been increasing each year, according to demographic statistics. Therefore, there is also a high probability that Siraphope may remain single and never marry.
Normally, Siraphope does not interfere in other people's lives or involve himself in the affairs of others or organizations. He prefers to mind his own business and respects other people's privacy. He avoids gossip, unnecessary criticism, and speaking negatively about others.
He firmly respects the personal rights and freedom of others, especially their right to choose their own spouse and to express themselves, even when their choices or behavior may not align with society's moral standards. Rather than interfering or passing judgment, he simply chooses not to become involved.
Personally, Siraphope believes that a good wife is often the foundation behind a husband's success. For this reason, he is highly selective when choosing a life partner. If he cannot find the kind of wife he truly believes is right for him, he would rather remain single for the rest of his life.
Siraphope was raised within Thai culture and has long been deeply rooted in the traditional teachings and values passed down by his Thai ancestors. From a social science perspective, these cultural foundations have played a significant role in shaping his worldview and character.
From a sociological perspective, however, he is highly adaptable and is able to relate to people of all ages, backgrounds, genders, and diverse identities. He does not judge people based on their financial status, social class, or position in society. Instead, he strives to treat everyone with dignity and respect.
At the same time, Siraphope firmly embraces the wisdom of the Thai proverb:
"Keep company with the foolish, and they will lead you astray; keep company with the wise, and they will lead you toward success and virtue."
For this reason, he deliberately surrounds himself with close friends who are knowledgeable, well-educated, courteous, gentle, respectful, and considerate—people who honor both themselves and others.
Although Siraphope sincerely strives to live as a Christlike gentleman and a faithful Christian, remaining humble and never believing himself to be superior to anyone else, he consciously avoids becoming closely associated with people who are rude, disrespectful, or habitually treat others without courtesy or dignity. This is not because he looks down on them, but because he believes that one's character is profoundly influenced by the company one keeps.
The Four Primary Reasons Why the House of Trakultim Declined Financially
The decline in the financial standing of the House of Trakultim can be traced to four principal causes:
1. Siraphope's paternal grandfather held a highly influential position as a senior government official before his retirement. However, he remained a loyal and honorable servant of the state. He was known for his unwavering integrity, refusing to engage in corruption, embezzlement, or abuse of public office. He lived modestly on his official salary and pension, rejecting bribes from junior officials seeking promotions and from private individuals attempting to obtain unlawful advantages from the government. His integrity was formally commemorated in the memorial published for his Royal Cremation Ceremony, which remains one of the historical archives of the House of Trakultim.
2. Although Siraphope's mother came from a wealthier and more financially established family than his father, the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis devastated the family's construction business. As a result, his parents suffered financial collapse and bankruptcy.
3. Even after Siraphope's mother was legally discharged from bankruptcy and fully restored to normal legal status, Siraphope's own financial situation was later severely affected by the economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, from which he has not yet fully recovered.
4. The continued and severe volatility of both the global economy and the Thai economy has significantly limited Siraphope's opportunities for financial recovery, preventing any meaningful improvement in his economic circumstances.
Siraphope and his family were raised and taught to remain loyal to the Thai monarchy and the Chakri Dynasty, and to maintain a profound sense of gratitude for the royal benevolence extended by the Kings of Thailand and all members of the Thai Royal Family.
In their daily lives, Siraphope and his mother adhere to the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy, developed under the royal initiatives of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great (Rama IX). They place particular emphasis on moderation, reasonableness, prudent living, and conducting their lives appropriately within their means and circumstances.

At present, Siraphope and his mother lead an exceptionally simple and highly frugal lifestyle. They avoid all forms of unnecessary luxury and do not spend money extravagantly on food, alcoholic beverages, entertainment, travel, or recreational activities. Instead, they place great importance on maintaining good health, ensuring personal safety, and living within their financial means.
Siraphope, in particular, places an exceptionally high priority on his health. Rather than spending money on expensive meals or luxury foods, he focuses on consuming clean, nutritious, and health-conscious foods. His regular diet includes fat-free high-protein milk, fat-free yogurt, whole-wheat bread, soft-boiled eggs, brown rice, bananas, and other low-sugar foods. His dietary choices are guided by nutritional value and long-term health benefits rather than price or luxury.
Both Siraphope and his mother also avoid seeking medical treatment at private hospitals whenever possible. Instead, they primarily rely on Thailand's Universal Coverage Scheme (commonly known as the "30-Baht Healthcare Scheme"), making use of the public healthcare benefits provided by the Thai government.
Although Siraphope's mother belongs to the middle class, Siraphope himself is currently economically disadvantaged and, based on socioeconomic and economic classifications, would be considered part of the working class or lower-income class. He has an extremely high level of household debt and receives very little financial support from his mother, leaving him with barely enough money to cover his daily living expenses. He is also classified as a non-performing borrower (NPL), which further reflects his current financial hardship. This description is based solely on an analysis of his financial and socioeconomic circumstances and is not intended as a judgment of his personal worth or social standing.
Siraphope earned or graduated a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Liberal Arts from Saint John’s University of Thailand in 2007, majoring in English for International Communication and minoring in Public Relations. His English undergraduate thesis/baby thesis (Independent Study), titled “The Strategies to Employ/Obtain a GPA of 3.00,” reflects his academic focus. He successfully completed a comprehensive four-year English program.
His professional roles encompass that of a researcher, scholar/academician, educator/instructor, and tutor. He possesses specialized knowledge in English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and English for Specific Purposes (ESP).
Additionally, he is certified in Teaching English to Young Learners (TEYL) and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).
Siraphope is a bilingual qualitative researcher proficient in both English and Thai, dedicated to achieving expertise in the fields of psychology, sociology, education, and communication. He has diligently sought out the most reliable and pertinent information to support his research endeavors.
He has a keen interest in martial arts, particularly in disciplines such as Muay
Thai (Thai Boxing), Taekwondo, Judo, Krav Maga, Martial Arts, Self-Defense, and the study of human anatomical vulnerabilities for street fighting. In his leisure time, he frequently engages with various instructional videos on these combat techniques available on YouTube.
Siraphope is a member and a Melchizidek priesthood holder of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints (Christianity). He is straight/heterosexual.
Siraphope's ethnic heritage comprises several distinct groups, including the Siamese or native Thai, the Mon—an ethnic community found in Mon State, Kayin State, Kayah State, Tanintharyi Region, Bago Region, the Irrawaddy Delta, and various areas in Thailand—and the Teochew, which denotes a subgroup of Han Chinese.
Additionally, there are speculative considerations regarding his ancestry, which may suggest connections to Indo-Aryan populations from the northern Indian subcontinent, Malays who belong to the Austronesian ethnic group indigenous to the Malay world, as well as potential Arabian or Persian lineages (Hypothesis/Assumption/Premise).
Physically, Siraphope is distinguished by his naturally dark eyes, commonly referred to as “black” in the Thai language, and possesses smooth, darkly tanned skin that corresponds with traditional masculine traits typically associated with Asian males. His recorded height is “5 feet 10 inches” (approximately 180
centimeters), as noted on his “Thai Nationality ID Card”. Moreover, his ethnic classification corresponds with the Mongoloid or Mongolian racial category.

Master Lecturer Siraphope Trakultim, Esq., B.A. (Thai: มาสเซอร์ อาจารย์ สิรภพ ตระกูลทิม, Esq., B.A.), commonly known as Mr. Siraphope Trakultim (Thai: นาย สิรภพ ตระกูลทิม), and also known as Tutor Por (Thai: คุณครูปอ), formerly known as Matt Nickel (Thai: แมท นิกเกิล, นามเดิม) and Suwit Trakultim (Thai: สุวิชช์ ตระกูลทิม, นามเดิม), was born on 15 November 1984 at Phra Nang Klao Hospital (King Rama III Hospital) in Nonthaburi Province, Kingdom of Thailand.
He was born into a family engaged in education and tutoring services. His father, Master Lecturer Senit Trakultim, Esq., B.A. (Thai: มาสเซอร์ อาจารย์ เสนิส ตระกูลทิม Esq., B.A)(deceased), was the founder of Sujinda’s Tutoring Services, also known as Sujinda Tutorial Home (Thai: บ้านสุจินดาสอนพิเศษ) or Sujinda Tutorial Center (Thai: ศูนย์กวดวิชา สุจินดา สอนพิเศษ) or Sujinda Tutor (สุจินดา สอนพิเศษ), established in 1995.
His mother, Mrs. Parawee Kungwanlatana (Thai: นาง ภารวี กังวานรัตนา), also known as Mrs. Rungtiwa Trakultim (Thai: นาง รุ่งทิวา ตระกูลทิม), is the current proprietor of Sujinda Tutor.
He had one sibling, Master Lecturer Sanit Trakultim, Esq., B.Eng. (Thai: มาสเซอร์ อาจารย์ ศานิต ตระกูลทิม Esq., B.Eng.)(deceased).
